Cisco- CCNA Routing and Switching Certification

The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is an intermediate Cisco networking certification. The CCNA Routing and Switching certification will validate your knowledge of the fundamentals of networking including your ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-sized enterprise routed and switched networks.

While there are no perquisites to obtain this certification it is recommended to have 1-3 years of networking experience prior to taking the CCNA Routing and Switching exam. Networking professionals often work towards this certification after achieving the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician Certification (CCENT), which covers the basics of small-sized networks. Once the CCNA Routing and Switching certification is obtained, it is valid for three years.
